I often use the hashtag pasito tun tun on Instagram. Like blogging, Instagram is another platform of inspiration and self reflection for me. I was inspired to use the pasito tun tun hashtag from an old song by the same name, interpreted by the Billo’s Caracas Boys.
The song gives me the feels. Its a happy song from my childhood and the chorus says something to the effect of: if you’re going to dance from here to there or from there to here take small steps.
What a simple but deep way to approach your journey.
Life can be overwhelming when you think about all you want or have to do but if you stay with your pasito tun tun and you’re consistently making baby steps you’ll be surprised at all you can actually accomplish even if there are phases where you might feel like you’re offbeat.
Breathe and pasito tun tun because when you look back you’ll be able to see all the progress you’ve made. See all the changes that have happened.
If you focus on everything you have to do or how far the end result is, it can consume you. But if you focus on doing what you can, when you can, you will dance through life pasito tun tun.
